The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) will launch a major new high performance computing (HPC) cluster, Cardinal, in the second half of 2024. The Dell Technologies-based cluster will support the growing need for HPC resources in Ohio for research, education and industry innovation, especially in the area of artificial intelligence (AI).

Staff from dozens of computing centers across the nation participated in the AI Bootcamp for Cyberinfrastructure Professionals, gaining new skills to support AI research.

Our annual publication highlights how OSC serves the needs of the state and national high performance computing community with new and expanded resources and services. Read the 2021-2022 Research Report to learn more about OSC's impact.
