Install Media

• Download a file to an EMPTY temporary directory.
• Execute the .EXE file (or extract all files from the .ZIP file) to recreate the install CD-ROM image. You can delete the .EXE or .ZIP file.
• Write a CD-ROM or run the setup file from the temporary directory.
• You can delete all files in the temporary directory after installation.
• Where it says 'insert CD' below, just navigate to the directory with the CD image.

ArcIMS for Windows

1. Verify that your system meets the minimum requirements. See the install quide on the CD for details (install.htm).
To start the ArcIMS installation, insert the ArcIMS CD into the CD drive.
2. Navigate to the CD and double-click the setup executable.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen. For detail installation instructions, see the install.htm file on the CD.

ArcExplorer -- Java for Windows

• The AEJavaSetup.exe is on the ArcIMS for Windows CD. Double-click it to start the installation process, and follow the instructions on the screen. For detailed instructions, see the UsingArcExplorer_java.pdf file on the CD.

ESRI Software Documentation Library

• Insert the CD on the CD drive to automatically start the setup program (or navigate to the setup.exe file and double-click). Follow the instructions on the screen.

Data Delivery Extension for Windows

• Insert the CD on the CD drive to automatically start the setup program (or navigate to the setup.exe file and double-click). Follow the instructions on the screen.
