Visit the Ohio Supercomputer Center
Visiting the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) is easy. Simply complete the tour form and someone from OSC will contact you to schedule your visit. We ask that the tour request form be submitted at least a week in advance. Depending on group size and tour content, tours can last anywhere between 1 - 2-1/2 hours. When scheduling a tour, please be sure that your group includes a minimum of five people in a group and students above the age of 13.

Entering the Building
The main entrance door to OSC is located on the North side of the building. This door is unlocked during business hours. All other building doors are locked at all times and only accessible to staff and students with a valid ID card. Upon entering the building please check-in with the receptionist at the front desk. If no one is available please use the front desk phone to call the person you are here to see. They will come to the front and escort you into the building.
If you arrive at OSC after business hours please use the phone in the North entrance lobby to call the person you are here to see. They will come to the front and escort you into the building.
Parking
Parking for visitors is located in the west and south lots at 1224 Kinnear Road. Signs in these lots indicate
that visitors must have a building parking permit in order to park in these spaces. Upon arrival visitors must obtain a
building parking permit from the receptionist and place the permit on the vehicle's dashboard. The parking permits are
valid for one day only and do not need to be returned to the receptionist. Please see the receptionist or your meeting
coordinator if you have any additional questions about parking.
Directions to OSC
From the North
- Proceed south on I-71 to 270 (Indianapolis or West).
- Follow 270 to 315 South.
- Take 315 South to the Lane Avenue (Ohio State University) exit.
- Turn right on to Lane Avenue.
- At the next traffic light, turn left on to Kenny Road.
- At the second light, turn right on to Kinnear Road.
- Follow Kinnear Road until just past Graybar Electric.
- Turn right at the Ohio State University Science & Technology Campus.
- Follow this road until it dead-ends at the OSC building.
- Visitors may park in both marked and unmarked spaces.
From the South
- Proceed north on I-71 to 315 North.
- Take 315 North to the Lane Avenue (Ohio State University) exit.
- Turn left on to Lane Avenue.
- At the second light, turn left on to Kenny Road.
- At the second light, turn right on to Kinnear Road.
- Follow Kinnear Road until just past Graybar Electric.
- Turn right at the Ohio State University Science & Technology Campus.
- Follow this road until it dead-ends at the OSC building.
- Visitors may park in both marked and unmarked spaces.

- Follow Kinnear Road until just past Graybar Electric.
- Turn right at the Ohio State University Science & Technology Campus.
- Follow this road until it dead-ends at the OSC building.
- Visitors may park in both marked and unmarked spaces.

Campus Bus Schedule
You may take the OSU campus busses (CABS) to reach OSC from the main OSU campus. The Campus Loop North, Campus Loop South and North Express routes all stop in front of OSC. Exit the bus at the Southwest Lot stop. OSC is the large brick and glass building to the South.
