This summer, Ohio’s brightest young women will share in the excitement of scientific discovery and analysis! Selected middle-school girls and teachers will receive hands-on training in scientific methodologies and the use of sophisticated technologies.

The Young Women’s Summer Institute (YWSI) was created to spark more interest among girls in math and science and to increase women’s participation in the science and technology fields, and in particular, information technology. This exciting summer program is offered by the Ohio Supercomputer Center on the west campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus.
