NetworkingOhio...This is your network.The networking division of the Ohio Supercomputer Center (formerly OARnet) has been helping Ohio’s colleges and universities reach their Internet goals since 1987. Few organizations can boast the bandwidth and level of service the OSC network offers its extended base of clients, from K-12 to colleges, hospitals to public television stations. OSC Networking is more than just massive bandwidth and a collection of services. The difference is that the OSC network specializes in providing custom solutions to fit the client's individual business needs. A few of the services offered by OSC Networking include videoconferencing, Internet2 connectivity, engineering consulting and satellite trailer systems. In addition to providing Internet solutions, the professional staff of OSC's Network Operations Center (NOC) is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to assist clients and monitor the network. OSC Networking is also one of the founding members of the OSCnet, the most advanced statewide research network in the nation. Together with the eTech Ohio Commission and Ohio Department of Education, OSC Networking enabled nearly 100 institutions of higher education throughout the state to have access to the nation's most advanced statewide education and research network.
