Platform LabPlatform Lab was founded by Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) and TechColumbus in 2002 and operates as America's only non-profit IT test and training facility. Platform Lab provides a significant competitive advantage for their clients by providing hardware, software, space and bandwidth via the OSCnet for all types of IT test projects - on-demand and at a non-profit rate. Common uses of Platform Lab include load and stress testing of IT applications, disaster recovery plan validation, IT training classes and proof-of-concept evaluations. Platform Lab provides short-term utilization of the OSCnet for test purposes only. Located in Columbus and Cleveland, and expanding into Cincinnati and Toledo, firms and organizations from all over America have utilized Platform Lab to significantly improve quality and reduce cost of testing.
