Job scheduling for petaflop parallel systems

Description: Although a number of research efforts have addressed architectural issues in pursuit of Petaflops Systems, job scheduling issues for such systems have not been addressed. In this project, we propose to assess the suitability of current scheduling techniques for future Petaflops systems and explore approaches to improving utilization on such systems.
