IBM 1350 Opteron Login Node Unresponsive

DESCRIPTION:
The login node of Glenn, the IBM 1350 Linux cluster, became unresponsive Wednesday evening, 10/8/2008, around 6:15pm. The system was rebooted and returned to service shortly after 6:30pm. Normal batch jobs were not impacted by the interruption in service, but interactive batch jobs will need to be restarted.
