FFTW

Introduction

FFTW is a C subroutine library for computing the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) in one or more dimensions, of arbitrary input size, and of both real and complex data. It is portable and performs well on a wide variety of platforms.

Version

FFTW3 version 3.0.1 is available at OSC.

Availability

FFTW3 version 3.0.1 is available on the Glenn Cluster, the Itanium 2 Cluster and the Altix.

Usage

To use FFTW, load the fftw or fftw3 module into your shell environment. You can then compile with $FFTW_CFLAGS or $FFTW_FFLAGS and link with $FFTW_LIBS:

module load fftw
icc $FFTW_CFLAGS my-fftw.c -o my-fftw $FFTW_LIBS
ifort $FFTW_FFLAGS more-fftw.f -o more-fftw $FFTW_LIBS
