VolSuite is a cross-platform, open source application framework for the construction of volume-based tools and their integration into a common environment. VolSuite provides several high-level interfaces for the interactive exploration, manipulation, visualization, and analysis of volume data. VolSuite's overarching design goal is to be as portable and extensible as possible. This makes it easy for researchers or developers to extend its functionality with their own set of algorithms and visualization techniques, while VolSuite remains intuitive and accessible to general users.
