Beginning Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 7 a.m., there will be an outage of most of 48core Pitzer and a few Owens nodes for UPS repair work. We anticipate this work to be completed at 2 p.m. on May 20.
Other OSC services including all 40core Pitzer nodes, most Owens nodes and all Ascend nodes, web portals, HPC file servers, MyOSC (the client portal) and state-wide licenses will be available during the outage.
In preparation for the outage, the batch scheduler will not start jobs that explicitly request the impacted nodes and cannot be completed before 7 a.m., May 20, 2023. Jobs that are not started will be held until after the outage and then started once there are available resources.
