About

The Office of Distance Education and eLearning invites you to attend Innovate, our annual conference featuring the best uses of technology in higher education. Innovate 2014 will be held in the Leed Certified Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center on Tuesday, March 25 and Wednesday, March 26.

Program

Innovate is an opportunity to learn about the most cutting-edge approaches to technology enhanced teaching, learning and research. This highly engaging program is built upon four years of tremendously successful events. 97% of 2013 participants recalled encountering ideas that were valuable and interesting, and 92% learned something that could change the way they think about or do their job.

Format

The Innovate conference on March 25 will feature breakout and poster sessions, vendor booths, a Steal My Idea showcase and more. The half-day session that follows on March 26 will provide hands-on workshops for participants to try out many of the new technologies and concepts presented at the conference. We welcome a wide range of presenters from novice to advanced users, from graduate student instructors to tenured faculty.

Theme

With this year's theme, create, we will demonstrate how technology makes creating more collaborative. Whether you're building something out of nothing, or making new connections to magnify your impact, technology has a role to play in any creation.

Participants

Technology and education professionals from any institution are welcome to attend. Registration is free and will open in February.
