Get an OSC account

Thank you for your interest in getting an OSC account.

Signing up for an OSC account is simply done by going to my.osc.edu and clicking on the blue 'Sign Up' button.

In order to utilize OSC compute and storage resources, an account must be associated with an active project.  If you've been provided with a project access code (for example as part of a class or laboratory group), you can enter it during the signup process.

Otherwise, you might need to apply for a new project.  Please click on the link below that best describes you to determine the OSC project type for which you are eligible. You will be taken to the correct project application information form.

Ohio Academic Client - I am a faculty member or research scientist who maintains a full-time position at an Ohio academic institution. Ohio Academic Clients are eligible for highly subsidized access to OSC resources, with fees generally only being charged above certain resource thresholds. These clients must submit a request that may need to be approved by their host institution. More information, including costs, is available here.

Other Client - I am a business, non-Ohio academic, nonprofit, hospital, or other organization. All clients not affiliated with and approved by an Ohio academic institution must sign a service agreement, provide a $500 deposit, and pay for resource usage per a standard price list. Such clients do not need to be based in Ohio.
