Overview
Institutions can now set reviewers for a budgets created at the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC).
The reviewer page for budgets will display the basic project information such as project title and any accompanying document uploaded by the PI. There will also be relevant fiscal information added by the PI call Org Fiscal Reference (if this field is blank, then no fiscal information was entered).
Reviewer decisions
Reviewers have three options when reviewing a budget request.
Approve - The budget is fully approved.
Partially approved - A reviewer enters an amount less than the original budget request, while still approving the request.
Reject - The budget is denied.
Multiple reviewers required
If more than one review is required to approve a budget, then the final reviewers decision is how the budget is determined. e.g. Two reviewers are required for a budget request of $5. The first reviewer fully approves this request. The second reviewer partially approves the request for $4. The budget will be set to active for $4 since the last reviewer determines the budget amount.
Also, if at any point during the review a reviewer submits a decision of reject, then the budget is rejected immediately even if there were other reviewers that could have made a different decision.
