OSC's new Service Portal

New Service Center slated for launch

The Ohio Supercomputer Center’s (OSC) Service Center, our new web-based system for tracking and responding to client support requests, will launch on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025. The Service Center, which will replace our current email-based help desk ticketing system, is designed to provide a more efficient way for you to seek and secure help for all of your project needs.

With your HPC credentials, you will be able to log into the Service Center to:

  • Open Support Cases: Initiate support cases related to any project you own or are a member of.
  • View All Cases: Easily access your current and past cases.
  • Manage Team Cases: If you are a project owner or administrator, see all open cases from your project members.
  • Communicate Seamlessly: Interact directly with OSC staff through the service center on your cases.
  • Request Services: Submit requests for a variety of different services.
  • Access Relevant Documentation: Receive immediate help from documentation tailored to your issue description.
  • Rate Documentation: Evaluate the relevance and accuracy of the provided documentation to help OSC staff maintain up-to-date resources.
  • Provide Feedback: Share your thoughts on how effectively OSC addresses your needs.

The new Service Center will help you use OSC resources more seamlessly and effectively to support your critical research and classroom work.

We will share more information about how to access the new Service Center in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, please contact us with any questions or feedback at oschelp@osc.edu
