As a temporary workaround, please submit your Ruby jobs by launching Ruby VDI session from OnDemand:
- Start a Ruby VDI session from 'OnDemand -> Interactive Apps -> Ruby VDI'
- Once it is ready, launch the session and open a terminal. Submit your Ruby jobs from there.

There have been problems with PBS torque commands including qsub and qstat from the Ruby login nodes since the rolling reboot on the Ruby cluster this morning.
