Using a cluster of 16 Itanium processors SGI demonstrated a pre-release of SGI Itanium software, built on TurboLinux, comprising SGI Pro64 compilers, Advanced Clustering Environment (ACE) and system administration tools.
The Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG) and OSC (Ohio Supercomputer Center) announced that OSC has acquired unlimited use of the NAG C, Fortran and Parallel Libraries for use on OSC’s high performance supercomputers.
