Matlab parallel pool cannot connect
In some cases, matlab will hang with connecting to parallel pool on Pitzer. This was discovered in the 2026 January downtime. We are still investigating

Matlab PCT broken due to pbsrsh modification
A change was made to the system wide pbsrsh script which Matlab relies on. Â It has been discovered that this change has broken the parallel computing toolbox (PCT) functionallity of Matlab.
All users who use the OSCMatlabPCT files provided by OSC will experience this issue.
