OSU's security framework requires that OSC conduct monthly security scans of compute nodes. We started the scans during September of 2019, and noticed some job failures correlated with the security scans. User jobs running during December 10th, 11th, and 12th might have been interrupted by scheduled scans. We are working with OSU to find a resolution to these problems, and are scheduling our January scans in conjunction with our scheduled maintenance outage on January 7th to minimize user impact.
We have been actively monitoring for crashed jobs and have been reaching out to individuals impacted.
