Internet2 Fall 2005 Conference Open for Registration

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Aug 10, 2005) —

The Internet2 Fall 2005 Member Meeting is open to registration. The Member Meeting is sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic GigaPop in Philadelphia for Internet2 (MAGPI), and will take place at the Wyndham Philadelphia Hotel at Franklin Plaza.

The program will focus on the many and varied innovative uses of advanced networks, as well as the constantly evolving network infrastructures that enable them. Sessions will examine new networking technologies, exciting Internet2 applications, how campuses are managing the development and deployment of new Internet2 technologies, and new opportunities for companies and other organizations to work with the university and K-12 communities.

Member Meetings also provide the opportunity to discuss important topics, share information and status, and to do work in "side meeting" activities such as Working Groups, Birds of a Feather, Special Interest Groups, and other miscellaneous informal and formal meetings.

Member Meetings afford the Internet2 community excellent opportunities to share innovations and ideas. Please consider participating in the Fall 2005 Member Meeting by registering for the meeting, submitting a track session proposal, a demo, a poster, or by facilitating a side meeting.
