COLUMBUS, Ohio – January 23, 2007 – The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) announced today the upgrade of its high performance computing (HPC) capacity with the acquisition of the IBM Cluster 1350.   This new system is projected to be one of the top 50 supercomputers in the world, making OSC among the top 10 academic supercomputing centers.

COLUMBUS, OH -- January 22, 2007 -- State Senators Steve Stivers (R-Columbus) and David Goodman (R-New Albany) today announced the release of more than $4.4 million from the state Controlling Board for the expansion of the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC), located at the Ohio State University.
