MyOSC Email Delivery Problems

The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) is experiencing an email delivery problem with several types of messages from MyOSC.

If you run a parallel (or even serial!) job, but not using all the cpus per node, the number of processes and their distribution is OK, but on the first node it appears they are all pinned to 1 cpu.

A support ticket (SR00479348) is opened to Dassault Systemes.

  • If you request a partial node for a serial job (nodes=1:ppn<28), you need to add 'mp_mode=threads' option in order to get the full performance.
