Updates at 15:52 March 11, 2020:

The issue with the Project file system that causes deletes of file system snapshots to fail has now been resolved. OSC Project file system has resumed normal operations. We are still working with our storage vendors to identify how to perform remaining maintenance work. We will update you as much advance notice as possible if it causes any disruption to users.

Updates at 12:07 Feb 28, 2020:

Maintenance work on the GPFS servers is scheduled to be performed today, 28 Feb 2020 at 2:00 PM to try to address the problem. There is no direct impact expected to services at OSC, but there may be short interruptions to storage services.

Updates at 09:00 Feb 27, 2020:

We had a brief hang of the GPFS services (Project and Scratch) between 15:45 to 16:10 on Feb 26, 2020. We are still working with the vendor to find the root cause of this issue.

Updates at 15:50 Feb 26, 2020:

We haven’t had any user-visible GPFS problems on all clusters since 18:30 Monday, Feb 24, 2020, and are working with the vendor to find the root cause of this issue.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please contact oschelp@osc.edu if you have any questions.
