HOW TO: Look at requested time accuracy using XDMoD
The XDMoD tool at xdmod.osc.edu can be used to get an overview of how accurate the requested time of jobs are with the elapsed time of jobs.
One way of specifying a time request is:
#SBATCH --time=xx:xx:xx
The elapsed time is how long the job ran for before completing. This can be obtained using the sacct command.

System Downtime October 8, 2019
A downtime for all HPC systems is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2019. The downtime will affect the Pitzer, Ruby and Owens Clusters, web portals, and HPC file servers. Login services, including my.osc.edu, access to storage and license server for hyperworks hosted by OSC will not be available during this time.
In preparation for the downtime, the batch scheduler will begin holding jobs that cannot be completed before 7 a.m., October 8, 2019.

LAMMPS 5Jun19 is available
LAMMPS stable version 5Jun19 has been installed with MVAPICH2, OpenMPI, and IntelMPI on Owens and Pitzer. These are GPU enabled installations. Usage is via the module lammps/5Jun19. For installation details, such as, available packages and example batch scripts, use command: "module help lammps/5Jun19". For help loading an installation, use command: "module spider lammps/5Jun19".
Bismark
Bismark is a program to map bisulfite treated sequencing reads to a genome of interest and perform methylation calls in a single step.
