A rolling reboot is in progress to address CVE-2026-23111 (nf_tables logic bug) for all clusters, including Ascend, Cardinal, and Pitzer. Login nodes will be rebooted first and access will be temporarily disrupted. Compute nodes will reboot in a rolling fashion; running jobs will not be impacted.
Status: Scheduled Maintenance
Start Time: June 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM EST
Scope: All clusters
Impact: Temporary login node disruption; no job impact on compute nodes
Additional Changes:
- OS updates for all clusters
- Ascend and Cardinal migrated to open-source NVIDIA kernel modules

- 12 Cardinal nodes remaining to be rebooted
- 11 Ascend nodes remaining to be rebooted
- 6 Pitzer nodes remaining to be rebooted
