Slowness on /scratch Filesystem

We are actively investigating intermittent slowness on the shared /fs/scratch filesystem.

Rolling reboots across all OSC clusters beginning 11/05/2026

OSC systems staff will execute a rolling reboot across all active compute clusters (Pitzer, Ascend, and Cardinal) beginning Thursday, November 05.

Users will encounter errors using ondemand.osc.edu

Issue information

ondemand.osc.edu will not be functional until we resolve the issues.

OSC staff are currently looking into the issues.
