Following our recent update to the OnDemand (OOD) Desktop launch form, we are expanding this job type resource interface across all applications within the OOD instance throughout September.
Why the Change?
Instead of forcing users to navigate complex cluster-specific node types, we replaced the Node Type selector with a straightforward Job Type option. By removing the need to learn hardware-specific node naming across different clusters, this update significantly reduces onboarding time and makes submitting jobs faster and more intuitive.
