Default MPI Module Update

During the upcoming scheduled downtime, we will update the default MPI module, MVAPICH, at OSC.

What is changing?

Code Server

Code Server provides a browser-based instance of Visual Studio Code, enabling users to write, edit, and run code directly on OSC cluster resources without local installation.

PyMOL

PyMOL is a molecular visualization tool used to view, analyze, and create high-quality 3D images of biological molecules like proteins and DNA.

Quantum Espresso 7.5 has been installed on all clusters. Use command "module spider quantum-espresso/7.5" for details.

OnDemand Shell App Not Working in Firefox 148

We are aware of an issue where the OnDemand Shell app is not functioning in Firefox 148. If you encounter this problem, please use a different browser to access the OnDemand Shell app until this issue is resolved. We have confirmed that Chrome, Edge, and Safari are working.
