BLAST database can be accessed through the blast-database module with desired versions. Blast module no longer loads BLAST database. User will have to explicitly load the blast-database module with the desired version.

LAMMPS stable version 16Mar18 has been installed on Owens, Ruby, and Oakley. These are GPU enabled installations. 16Mar18 is available with both MVAPICH2 and IntelMPI on all three clusters and on Owens also with OpenMPI. Usage is via the module lammps/16Mar18. BWA 0.7.17 is available on Owens.
Matlab Distributed Computing Server (MDCS) is no longer available.
The major purpose of this feature was to allow users to use their local licenses that OSC didn't provide.
However, now OSC provides all the toolboxes to all the academic users.
Freesurfer 5.3.0 is available on Owens.
