Ohio Supercomputer Center's Overview Workshop Highlights Resources, Services

Find out what the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) is doing to give Ohio researchers in academia, industry, and government the competitive edge.

As a statewide resource, OSC offers high performance computing (HPC) workshops including a two-hour overview presentation packed with information about its hardware, software, network, services, and related resources. 

The workshop, “High Performance Computing at OSC: An Overview,” will be held on Jan. 10, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in OSC’s BALE theater.  Workshop attendees will learn about:

The company has agreed to make available, at no cost, the use of advanced, broad band fiber optic telecommunications facilities to connect high schools for educational purposes.

OSC Announces Winter Workshops for Novice, Advanced Researchers

OSC's (Ohio Supercomputer Center) nationally recognized workshops return this winter, offering several new courses for both beginner and advanced computer users.

OSC regularly provides workshops about new computing techniques and hardware and software resources at no cost to users. Remote workshops are also held through OSC's Access Grid node, an advanced audio-visual communications tool that transmits over Internet2.
