2. Click the "Sign Up" button and submit the form.
3. Enter the response code.

Welcome to the Pitzer Cluster's Early User Program. Pitzer is still in a testing state; jobs may experience unexpected failures, and we are still actively expanding the user software environment. Please report any issues you experience to OSCHelp.
Change or Reset Password and Retrieve Usernames
Client portal password and username options
Please visit MyOSC, our client portal website.
Change password while already logged in
Click "Change Password" from the dropdown menu in the upper-right corner where the full name of the user is shown.
A successful password change redirects back to the dashboard page. There is also a message displayed confirming the change and providing other information.
Reset an expired or forgotten password
From the Login page, click the "Forgot your password?" link.
Batch Limit Rules
Pitzer includes two types of processors, Intel® Xeon® 'Skylake' processor and Intel® Xeon® 'Cascade Lake' processor. This document provides you information on how to request resources based on the requirements of # of cores, memory, etc despite the heterogeneous nature of the Pitzer cluster. Therefore, in some cases, your job can land on either type of processor. Please check guidance on requesting resources on pitzer for your job to obtain a certain type of processor on Pitzer.
Interactive Reporting
In the client portal, interactive reporting is provided using Oracle Application Express (APEX) which allows end users to query data and customize reports. This interactive reporting allows users to:

Interactive reporting of HPC job activity
The HPC Job Activity menu item opens a powerful reporting tool. By default, the report shows all activity over the last 30 days for projects you are authorized to view usage of. There are simple filters available at the top to put in a specific job ID, narrow the report to a specific project, or select a specific date range.
DOWNTIME FOR ALL CLUSTERS ON OCTOBER 23, 2018
A downtime for all HPC systems is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018. The downtime will affect the Oakley, Ruby and Owens Clusters, web portals and HPC file servers. Login services, including my.osc.edu, and access to storage will not be available during this time.
In preparation for the downtime, the batch scheduler will begin holding jobs that cannot be completed before 7 a.m., Oct. 23, 2018.
