The High Performance Computing (HPC) division of OSC is sponsoring a Graduate Student Conference/Workshop at OSC on August 10 and 11, 2001.
The purpose of the Conference/Workshop is to introduce graduate students from around the state to the resources and capabilities of OSC, as well as to exchange information about research projects being undertaken by other graduate students in Ohio.
Ohio businesses facing the challenges of keeping pace with constantly changing technology will soon have a solution. With the financial support of the Ohio Technology Action Fund and other organizations, Platform Lab, a software testing and development facility, has announced that advanced scheduling is available to organizations and businesses.
Scientific Computing Associates (SCIENTIFIC), experts in parallel and distributed computing with more than 21 years of experience, today announced that SCIENTIFIC's Linda® and Paradise®, a unique programming tool suite, is now available for use at Platform Lab. Platform Lab is a joint project of OSC (Ohio Supercomputer Center) and the Business Technology Center.
An audio version of the Greater Columbus Free-Net User's Guide is now distributed through the Central Ohio Radio Reading Service, Inc. (CORRS). The User's Guide audio version is a set of six audio cassette tapes and is a collaborative effort of The Ohio State University, the Greater Columbus Free-Net, and CORRS.
