MKL 11.2.3 is available on Oakley for the newest compilers: intel/15.0.3, gnu/5.2.0, pgi/15.4.0
GNU compiler verion 5.2.0 is now available on oakley and ruby and can be loaded through loading module gnu/5.2.0
The hdf5 and netdf libraries (both serial and parallel versions) have been built and installed on Oakley with the new compilers and mpi, GCC 5.1.0, Intel 15.0.3, PGI 15.4, and mvapich2 2.1, and can now be loaded through those modules.
Comsol version 5.1 is now available on Oakley through loading the module comsol/51
Starccm version 10.04.009 has been installed on oakley.
Q-Chem 4.3 has been installed on Oakley and is available by loading the module qchem/4.3.
The Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) has been moved from Glenn to Oakley, and the latest updates have been installed. CSD can be run only on oakley01.osc.edu. Usage is via the module csd.
The maximum job size on Glenn has been reduced from 256 nodes (2048 cores) to 128 nodes (1024 cores). User and group limits are still at 2048 cores total.
We have updated the default module of ANSYS on both Oakley and Glenn. The default module of ANSYS is ANSYS 14.5.7 on Oakley and ANSYS 14.5 on Glenn. For example, if you use module load ansys
on Oakley, ANSYS 14.5.7 (instead of ANSYS 13.0) is loaded. We however keep the older versions of ANSYS installed on our cluster.
We have updated the default module of FLUENT on both Oakley and Glenn. The default module of FLUENT is FLUENT15.0.7 on Oakley and FLUENT 14.5 on Glenn. For example, if you use module load fluent
on Oakley, FLUENT 15.0.7 (instead of FLUENT 13.0) is loaded. We however keep the older versions of FLUENT installed on our cluster.
